Buying expensive golf clubs is like buying a suit at the department store. It almost never fits just right off the rack and needs tailoring. Buying golf clubs is the same (except much more important, of course)!! We can’t over-emphasize how important it is that your golf equipment be dialed in for your swing, your physique and athletic capabilities or handicaps. You would be amazed at how much difference even a small adjustment can make in your shot-making, scoring and enjoyment.

When you are ready, one of our club-fitters will give you the benefit of our 40 + years of experience. We will focus on the type of head you have selected, shaft flex, swing weight, shaft weight, shaft length, flex point, loft and lie angles, grip size and more.It takes some effort on your part to supply accurate information and a little longer to get your clubs but we think you will be very pleased at the results!

Club / Cart Rentals

Visiting the Pinehurst area? You don't have to lug your clubs with you and risk loss or damage. (The airlines and FedEx keep our repair shop busy!!).

We offerTour Edge men's and women's complete sets with bag for only $45.00 per day. Right and Left hand are available. We also have a limited number of premium rental sets from Titleist, Ping and Callaway for $65.00 per day.

Sun Mountain Push Carts are available for $25.00 per day.

For your convenience, you can pick up your rental set the day before after 4pm and bring it back by 10am the day after and be charged only for the play days in between.

Consignment Program

Demos are really helpful in selecting new clubs and we have A LOT of them for you to try before you buy. In addition to demo carts from Titleist, Pine, Mizuno and Srixon, we have hundreds of pre-owned clubs in inventory that are available to try.

Our Demo Program is completely FREE. All we ask is that you return the clubs clean within 2 days. That way you can take them out to the course or driving range and hit them under "real" conditions.

Robert's Golf Shop has by far the largest inventory of used golf clubs in the region and many of them are here on consignment from their owners.

When you are ready to turn your clubs into cash, bring them to us and we will put them out on display on our sales floor and sell them - usually is less than 50 days. Our consignment fee is as low as 35% of the final selling price.

We maintain an excellent sale turnover rate because we do not accept just anything. If you have a name brand club in reasonably good condition that is not more than 3 or 4 model generations old, you will do very well in our consignment program.

Repairs & Custom Work

Our highly experienced club technicians are capable of almost any type of repair or customization on your clubs. Replacing broken shafts, upgrading shafts, hosel boring when needed, expert refinishing, grinding, groove sharpening, spining are the most commonly requested services. If there is something we can't do, we know who can and will take care of it for you.

Thank you for shopping with us! We want to ensure you have the best possible experience on and off the course. Please review our standard store policy regarding returns and refunds below.

1. New and Unused Products

We offer a 7-day return policy for item modifications, exchanges, or full refunds on brand-new merchandise.

Timeframe: Items must be returned within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date.
Condition: Products must be completely unused, unhit, unworn, and undamaged.
Packaging: All original packaging, tags, labels, wrappers, shrink-wrap, and structural accessories (like headcovers or adjustment wrenches) must be fully intact and attached.
Proof of Purchase: A valid original sales receipt or electronic invoice is strictly required for all eligible refunds.

2. Used, Played, or Tested Products

To maintain the highest level of quality for our inventory, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on used products.

Any golf club that has been hit, swung, or gamed on a course or simulator is considered used.
Any apparel, footwear, gloves, or accessories that show signs of outdoor wear, dirt, or wash cycles cannot be returned.
Pre-owned or demo items purchased directly from our discount racks are considered final sale and are not eligible for exchange or refund.

3. Exclusions and Final Sale Items

The following items are permanently excluded from refunds or store credits, regardless of their purchase timeline:

Custom Orders: Any golf clubs built to unique player specifications (custom shafts, lofts, lies, or grips).
Personalized Gear: Custom-printed golf balls, stamped wedges, or embroidered bags.
Hygiene Items: Socks, undergarments, and specialized medical/compression gear.

4. Refund Processing

Original Payment: Approved refunds for qualified new items will always be issued to the original form of payment.
Processing Time: Please allow 3 to 5 business days for bank processing to reflect the funds on your statement.
